REYNALDO PATIÑO, viola, has performed with prominent Dallas-Fort Worth early music ensembles such as Denton Bach Players,  Denton Bach Society, Dallas Bach Society, along with other groups such as Mountainside Baroque (Cumberland, MD), and most recently with the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra. Reynaldo has also performed and studied at summer institutes and festivals including the International Baroque Institute at Longy, Baroque Performance Institute at Oberlin, and the Boston Early Music Festival.  Reynaldo first became interested in Early Music while studying and performing on medieval bowed stringed instruments at Texas Tech University. He performs on a Jacob Stainer based violin constructed by luthier Timothy Johnson (Hewitt, Texas).

Reynaldo became the first to receive the Graduate Artist Certificate in Early Music performance on baroque violin from the University of North Texas, class of 2012.  He received his Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance from Texas Tech University and currently studies baroque violin with Stanley Ritchie at Indiana University. His previously studied with Cynthia Roberts, Lyle Nordstrom, Cristoph Hammer, and Paul Leenhouts at UNT. Reynaldo is a charter member of Early Music America’s Youth Advisory Board. He is a co-founder and co-artistic director of Seattle based Queen City Musicians.
